Relationship Property Mediation in Christchurch

Separation is rarely easy. Decisions about property and finances can quickly feel overwhelming, especially when emotions are already high.

Mediation provides a calm, structured space to work through these decisions.
As a mediator, I help separating couples talk through what needs to be resolved and support them in reaching practical agreements that allow both people to move forward.

A Process Focused On What Matters

My role is to guide the conversation, so both people feel heard
and understood.

Mediation helps shift the focus away from conflict and towards finding solutions that work in real life. With the right support and structure, couples are able to reach thoughtful agreements that allow them to move forward with greater clarity. Whether that means continuing to live and work alongside each other, or going their separate ways.

Legal Advice and Durable Agreements

For many people, mediation is a more efficient and less stressful
alternative to court.

Independent legal advice is an important part of reaching a lasting agreement. In relationship property matters, each person must receive independent legal advice before a settlement can be finalised. I encourage both parties to work with their own lawyer throughout the process.
